Job summary

Moore Teachers Ltd is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Cuffley to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a Reception class on a long-term basis.

The role involves supporting teaching and learning one-to-one, in small groups and with the whole class, assisting phonics, literacy and numeracy, and helping create a positive, nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery or educational setting.
• An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) would be advantageous.
• A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Moore Teachers is delighted to be working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Cuffley, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a Reception class on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about helping young children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning during the crucial early stages of their education.

The Role

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable. If you do not currently hold a DBS, one can be arranged subject to the necessary checks.
• Satisfactory references covering recent employment and education.
• Right to work in the UK.
