Job summary

St John Fisher Catholic Voluntary Academy in Derby is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students during term-time. The role is fixed-term and part-time (24.5 hours per week) with core hours 8:30–1:00 four days and 8:30–3:30 one day; salary bands £14,842–£15,565 per year under SRS Band 3.

Job description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students on their journey to success. You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide tailored support for individual students, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

There will be opportunities to develop within the school and make a valued contribution to our children's learning.

This is a fixed term role, working for 24.5 hours per week, term time only. This will be 8:30-1:00 four days per week and 8:30-3:30 one day per week (full day to be agreed upon appointment).
