Job Opportunity: Primary Teacher

Start Date: ASAP

Our central Birmingham based Catholic Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their established team to start September 2025. This is a support teaching post where the succsesful teacher will take groups, teach side by side with other staff and cover classes in Rec - year 2 when required.

You will have prior UK primary teaching experience and be able to commit to a full time role from September 2025.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets
  • Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and community life
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching in primary education
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment strategies
