Philosophy Education LTD. is seeking an experienced Reception Teacher for a two-term maternity cover starting January 2026 at a Dulwich infant school in London. The role focuses on early years play-based learning within a three-form-entry setting, with close collaboration with fellow reception teachers.

You will support planning, assessments, and enrichment activities, and engage with parents to build strong home-school links. A strong EYFS background and phonics knowledge are essential.

The Role

In this Reception Teacher role, you will work within the Early Years team to develop exciting and engaging play-based learning for the Reception class. As a three-form-entry school, you will work closely with the other reception teachersin planning, assessments and enrichment activities.You will have regular contact with parents and should have excellent communication skills to build strong home-school links. The school are looking for anexperienced Reception Teacher with a good understanding of phonics and early maths and how to support children entering full-time schooling at all ability levels. You should have a committed and professional approach to teaching with a creative and inspiring approach.

The School is looking for:
