Job summary

Philosophy Education LTD. is recruiting for an experienced Reception Teacher to join a Dulwich infant school in January 2026 for a two-term maternity cover.

You will work in the Early Years team to deliver play-based learning, collaborate with other reception teachers on planning and assessments, and maintain strong home-school links through excellent communication with parents.

A lovely infant school in Dulwich are looking for an experiencedReception Teacher to join their school inJanuary 2026for a two term maternity cover contract.

The Role

In this Reception Teacher role, you will work within the Early Years team to develop exciting and engaging play-based learning for the Reception class. As a three-form-entry school, you will work closely with the other reception teachersin planning, assessments and enrichment activities.You will have regular contact with parents and should have excellent communication skills to build strong home-school links. The school are looking for anexperienced Reception Teacher with a good understanding of phonics and early maths and how to support children entering full-time schooling at all ability levels. You should have a committed and professional approach to teaching with a creative and inspiring approach.

The School is looking for:

• A qualified teacher with experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
