Job summary

Innside by Melia Liverpool, part of Meliá Hotels International, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to carry out proactive and reactive general maintenance to uphold high standards across the hotel. You will perform painting, basic plumbing, electrical and decorating tasks, liaise with front desk and contractors, and help with planned maintenance while prioritising guest comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical and decorative repair work
• Maintaining heating and air conditioning equipment
• Auditing of rooms and public areas to assess repair requirements
• To keep up to date records of all room audits and file appropriately
• Respond efficiently to all guest needs with respect to maintenance
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and cleaned after each shift
• Assist the department with all other duties as required
• Have full knowledge of the Company’s Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Emergency procedures

Job summary:The Maintenance Assistant will carry out proactive and reactive general maintenance and upkeep of the Hotel interior and exterior, to ensure the property maintains high standards. There will be generalpainting and decorating, liaising with front desk and contractors to conduct reactive and proactive planned maintenance, as well as other technical duties as required.
