Job summary

Larksfield and Arlesey Medical Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Supervisor to join our friendly GP practice. You will support the day-to-day management of the reception team and deputise for the Reception Lead when needed, delivering excellent patient care and maintaining high service standards across our two sites.

Job description

Larksfield and Arlesey Medical Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and motivated Reception Supervisor to join our friendly team., This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced receptionist or supervisor looking to develop their leadership skills within a busy and supportive GP practice. Working closely with the Reception Lead, you will support the day-to-day management of the reception team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of front-of-house services across the practice., The successful candidate will deputise for the Reception Lead in their absence and play a key role in supporting, coaching and developing the reception team. Responsibilities include assisting with staff rotas, annual leave, induction and training of new starters, providing ongoing support to existing staff, monitoring performance, ensuring adherence to practice policies and procedures, and escalating any concerns appropriately.

You will also continue to work as part of the reception team, delivering excellent patient care while helping to drive high standards of customer service, teamwork and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, experience working within a GP practice or similar healthcare environment, and a thorough understanding of patient confidentiality, customer service and the demands of a busy reception service. Experience using SystmOne would be advantageous.
