Job summary

Christchurch Harbour Hotel is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead guest services and ensure outstanding service at check-in and check-out. You will be the first point of contact, mentoring front desk colleagues and upholding Harbour Hotels’ standards across the Christchurch property.

The role requires a minimum of two years in hotel reception, excellent written and spoken English, and a proactive, guest‑focused attitude.

The role

We have a superb opportunity for a Reception Supervisor to join the team. As Reception Supervisor you will be required to assist in ensuring every guest receives the ultimate in customer service and being the first point of contact, possess an engaging and friendly personality, always looking to go the extra mile. You will need to be an experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 2 years in a hotel reception role and ideally be trained in the use of OPERA, although full training will be given. You will also need to have an excellent standard of English, both written and spoken.
