A large GP practice in Bradford seeks a Reception Supervisor to manage patient interactions and support a busy reception team. This role involves supervising staff, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring efficient reception processes. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
We are looking to recruit a new Reception Supervisor to bepart of our large reception team of 16.
The role of a supervisor is to be the first point of contactfor patients contacting the surgery and to support the reception team in theday to day running of the reception function. The supervisor will deal withescalated issue, more complex enquires and will also be the point of contactbetween the clinical and reception team.
The supervisor must present a caring, welcoming, andprofessional demeanour at all times.
You will be supported in this role by the Lead Supervisorand Operations Manager.
Working pattern:
37.5hrs per week over 4 days made up of:3 x 8am-6.30pm, 1 x 8am-4pm, 1 x day off each week.
You will expected to work across all three of our sites.
Please note, due to the nature of this role, home working is not available.
You will be professional and efficient and be able to workunder pressure at all times, welcoming patients and visitors to the practice ina friendly and professional manner. Working as part of a large reception team,you will be required to deal with patients both face to face and over thetelephone ensuring a high level of patient care is maintained at all times.
We are a large training practice based at Leylands Lane,Heaton with branch surgeries at Haworth Rd, Heaton and Wrose Rd, Wrose.
