Key responsibilities:

Shift Leadership: Lead and supervise shifts, ensuring optimal service quality and efficient allocation of staffing resources.

Ensure Service Quality: Maintain high standards of service and address any issues promptly

Reporting: Document and report on shift activities, including any incidents or performance metrics

Exam Allocation: Allocate medical exams to reporters, ensuring fair distribution and prioritising urgent cases. Monitor systems for unmatched exams, resolve issues, and support reporters to prevent SLA breaches.

Urgent Pathway Procedures: Promptly notify relevant stakeholders for high-priority patients (e.g., acute stroke and major trauma), facilitate urgent call-backs, and document accordingly.

Professional Communication: Communicate professionally and effectively with radiographers, reporters, and clinicians to facilitate smooth operations.
