Job summary

Vision Teaching is seeking a Reception SEND TA for a two-form entry primary school in Bromley-by-Bow, London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The role involves supporting pupils with high SEND needs, including ASD/SALT, in small groups and 1:1 settings.

The ideal candidate will have a TA qualification, experience in primary settings, and comfort using Makaton or similar visual aids. Start date ASAP with a collaborative school-based team.

Qualifications

• Teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a Primary School.
• Confident in using visual aids and/or Makaton.
• Experience working with children with ASD/ SALT.
• Experience working as a Reception SEND TA.

About The Client:

We are proud to be working with a two-form entry school with a focus on achieving strong academic outcomes in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The school is looking for a Reception SEND TA to support pupils with high SEN. If you would like to work in an ambitious environment as a Reception SEND TA, then this is the school for you! As a Reception SEND TA, you would be responsible for supporting pupils within groups and on a 1:1 basis. Their needs are predominantly ASD and Speech and Language delay. The start date for this Reception SEND TA role is ASAP.
