Job summary

Ivy Restaurants Ltd is seeking a Reception Manager for Harry's in London to lead the front-of-house experience. You will ensure a warm, professional first impression, manage bookings, and oversee seating flow across sections while delivering detailed knowledge of our menu and specials.

You will train and lead the reception team, provide accurate information to guests, and ensure payment methods are processed correctly, with a focus on exceptional service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ experience in this position.
• Solution-driven, able to work under peak service pressure.
• Delight guests with exceptional service.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Friendly and professional with charisma and flair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive a positive, warm and professional first impression and seating.
• Efficiently manage bookings and allocate tables across sections; stagger times.
• Lead, train and manage the reception team.
• Provide up-to-date information on the restaurant, food and drinks, including specials.
• Ensure payment methods are handled correctly.

Key elements of your role as Reception Manager:

• Ensure all our guests receive a positive, warm and professional first impression of the restaurant and be seated at their table
• Efficiently manage the bookings, to allocate tables equally over all sections of the
• Restaurant and to stagger times of bookings.
• To manage, train and lead the reception team
• Provide up to date and accurate information on the Restaurant with a good knowledge of all food and drink offered, as well as specials.
• Ensure when necessary, all payment methods are dealt with in the correct manner

• You have 2 years + experience in this position
• Solution-driven individual able to work under the pressure of peak service
• You love to wow guests with exceptional service
• You have excellent English language skills
• You are friendly and professional with plenty of charisma and flair
