The Ivy Collection is seeking a passionate Reception Manager to lead a warm, efficient front-of-house team in one of our iconic UK restaurants. You will greet guests, manage bookings, train staff, and ensure every guest receives an outstanding first impression.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in reception/FOH management is preferred.
• Excellent command of English and professional demeanor.
• Ability to train and lead a front-of-house team.
• Strong knowledge of booking systems and guest services.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Efficiently manage bookings and seating to balance sections during service.
• Lead, train and develop the reception team to maintain service standards.
• Provide up-to-date information on menus, specials and restaurant offerings.
• Ensure payment methods are processed accurately and securely.

Key elements of your role as Reception Manager:

• Ensure all our guests receive a positive, warm and professional first impression of the restaurant and be seated at their table
• Efficiently manage the bookings, to allocate tables equally over all sections of the
• Restaurant and to stagger times of bookings.
• To manage, train and lead the reception team
• Provide up to date and accurate information on the Restaurant with a good knowledge of all food and drink offered, as well as specials.
• Ensure when necessary, all payment methods are dealt with in the correct manner

About you:

• You have 2 years + experience in this position
• Solution-driven individual able to work under the pressure of peak service
• You love to wow guests with exceptional service
• You have excellent English language skills
• You are friendly and professional with plenty of charisma and flair
