eTeach UK Limited is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Bristol. The role is based in the Reception class, 8.15 am - 3:30 pm, 31.25 hours per week, term time only plus 5 inset days, with a fixed-term contract to 31 August 2027.

Salary ranges from £19,829 to £24,188 and depends on qualifications and experience. Ideal candidates will have experience with primary-age children, strong knowledge of the national curriculum and phonics, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary age children in both key stages.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, especially Early Years.
• Experience observing children’s learning and assessing progress.
• Ability to promote independent learning inside and outside.

Responsabilités

• Support pupils to access the full curriculum and promote independence.
• Support phonics delivery and Read Write Inc (RWI) where trained.
• Observe pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
• Maintain individual and group records as required.
• Contribute to planning and evaluating learning activities.
• Create a welcoming, orderly, and supportive learning environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team and build relationships.
• Demonstrate kindness, care and enthusiasm.
