Job summary

HSBC is recruiting for a Business Development Director, Receivables & Working Capital to cover mid-market corporates across Yorkshire and the North-East. The role is hybrid, based in the UK, and focuses on developing innovative receivables-based financing solutions.

You will lead high-level client conversations, build strategic relationships, and collaborate with product teams to deliver flexible working capital propositions. This is a senior client-facing position within Global Trade Solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience of Business Development with Receivables Finance at the heart.
• Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on inspiring, influencing and negotiating.
• Ability to interact with senior and strategic business customers.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and develop new receivables and working capital finance opportunities
• Assist in establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
• Assist in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers
• Work closely with structured trade solutions to provide innovative receivables-based solutions to existing and new to bank businesses
• Proactively supporting Relationship Manager in discussions and client pitches
• Deepen your understanding of the clients through credit and customer due diligence reviews
