Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Control Room Manager to join our facility in Crick. This pivotal role involves overseeing real-time operations and performance across a highly automated warehouse environment, ensuring seamless flow from inbound to outbound processes.

The role requires proven experience in control room management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to make informed decisions quickly. The position offers a salary up to £50,000, 25 days of annual leave, and a compelling benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a control room, automated environment, or real-time operational management role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and WMS/WCS systems.
• Ability to make fast, data-led decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation of the control room and monitor automation systems.
• Respond quickly to faults, bottlenecks, and disruptions.
• Ensure end-to-end alignment between inbound, stock, and outbound functions.
• Lead the response to equipment issues and process deviations.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and complete follow-up actions.

Skills

Strong proven experience in a control room

Understanding of warehouse operations and WMS/WCS systems

Confident in making fast, data-led decisions under pressure

Excellent communication skills

Strong analytical skills with experience using dashboards and KPIs
