Job summary
Cirrus Selection is seeking a hands-on Simulation Systems Maintenance Engineer in Stevenage to support and maintain sophisticated real-time simulation systems used in development and testing of cutting-edge engineering technology.
The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across hydraulic motion platforms, control systems, and positioning equipment, combining practical engineering, fault finding, and continuous improvement within a collaborative team.
Qualifications
- Broad hands-on engineering experience with hydraulic and control systems.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Experience in maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and supporting advanced real-time simulation systems
- Fault finding and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment
- Support hydraulic motion systems and control equipment
- Carry out planned preventative and corrective maintenance
- Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Work with CAD models and technical documentation
- Support testing and engineering activities in a complex environment
- Contribute to system reliability and performance improvement
