Job summary

CAE Inc in Crawley (Gatwick area) is seeking a skilled Simulator Technician III to perform complex maintenance and diagnostics on diverse flight simulators. You will diagnose problems, train staff, and assist engineering with software enhancements across multiple simulator systems.

The role offers on-site work with opportunities to grow across CAE's global simulation platforms, benefiting from a broad range of equipment and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years direct experience working on simulators.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency with software diagnostics and utilities on at least 1 type of simulator.
• Troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Diagnose and correct problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Train technicians in basic skills and provide technical training for others.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on all simulators.
• Assist Engineering Team with modifications, design changes and software enhancements.
