Job summary

Forces Recruitment Solutions Group Ltd is seeking a Simulator Maintenance Engineer to provide technical support and ensure uninterrupted operation of simulator training equipment. The role covers fault-finding, installation, commissioning and maintenance of multi-skilled electrical and mechanical systems, with IT proficiency and strong customer service skills.

Applications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged.

Qualifications

Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight timelines.
Proficient IT skills, MS Teams and MS Office.
Strong customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

First-line troubleshooting and fault resolution with the ability to work autonomously as required.
Fault finding, maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of simulation equipment.
Carrying out software, hardware, and basic network configuration.
Assess equipment performance so that it is available and ready for use.
Perform pre- and post-use simulator checks.
Complete technical reports and review technical data and drawings.
Excellent communication and administration skills, both written and verbal.
Comply with H&S guidelines at Company and customer site premises.
