CAE Inc. is seeking a Senior Simulator Technician IV at our Gatwick training centre. The role focuses on maintaining high availability of flight simulators across multiple platforms, through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system improvements.

Responsibilities include checks, diagnostics, refurbishment support, and collaboration with operations and suppliers. The team operates in a safety-focused, quality-driven environment with shift patterns to cover 4-on, 4-off cycles.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of experience as a Simulator Technician or similar maintenance role.
• Fluency in English and good communication skills.
• Experience troubleshooting simulator systems to system level on multiple platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret technical docs and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation to maintain simulator readiness.
• Carry out preventive maintenance per schedules and procedures.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure serviceability.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
• Support qualification testing and QTG activities to meet regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records and documentation of maintenance actions.
