Job summary

CAE in Gatwick, Crawley is seeking a Simulator Technician III to maintain and service advanced simulators across multiple environments. You will diagnose, repair, and modify simulator systems, working with engineering on design changes and software enhancements.

The role offers training, progression, and exposure to diverse systems within CAE’s world-class training platforms. The position requires at least 3 years of simulator experience, strong English fluency, and the ability to troubleshoot

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years direct experience working on simulators.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency with software diagnostics and utilities on at least 1 type of simulator.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform in-depth analysis and research for hardware modifications and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated systems.
• Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated systems.
• Diagnose and correct complex problems on the simulators and associated systems.
• Utilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.
• Train technicians in basic skills and provide technical training.
