Job summary

Cirrus Selection in Stevenage is seeking a Test Engineer to join a Hardware-in-the-Loop testing team, conducting live, real-time missile simulations with real hardware and dedicated test rigs.

You will develop and refine real-time software simulations, run hands-on tests with real hardware, and analyse telemetry to inform design decisions, collaborating with missile product experts to drive validation and improvements.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in systems integration and interface debugging.
• A structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with real-time software or simulation design

Responsibilities

• Understand how missile sub-systems behave under dynamic HIL testing.
• Determine how sub-systems interact with bespoke test equipment.
• Develop and refine real-time software simulations from performance models.
• Run hands-on testing with real missile hardware and software.
• Analyse telemetry data and turn it into technical reports for design decisions.
• Work with subject matter experts across missile product teams
