Cirrus Selection in Stevenage is seeking a Test Engineer to join a Hardware-in-the-Loop testing team, conducting live, real-time missile simulations with real hardware and dedicated test rigs.
You will develop and refine real-time software simulations, run hands-on tests with real hardware, and analyse telemetry to inform design decisions, collaborating with missile product experts to drive validation and improvements.
Based in Stevenage | Predominantly on-site
Salary up to £46,000
If you like the idea of testing hardware inside a live, real-time simulation, not a spreadsheet model, this is worth five minutes of your time.
You'd join a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test team, running dynamic missile-firing simulations using real missile hardware, flight motion tables, and RF and IR target generation systems. It's one of the few facilities of its kind in the UK. The simulations run in real time, the hardware is real, and the results feed directly into product development, performance validation, and firing trials.
You don't need to tick every box. If you've got the essentials and one or two of the desirables, you're worth a conversation.
This sits alongside a solid package, up to £2,500 company bonus, pension contributions up to 14%, up to 15 additional flexi leave days, and enhanced parental leave. Happy to talk through the detail when we speak.
You'll need to be a British citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship, as this role requires security clearance after offer.
