Job summary

MBDA seeks a leader to head the HWIL team in Stevenage, guiding the development of complex system simulations within world-leading Hardware in the Loop facilities. You will oversee multiple project teams involved in missile design, trials preparation, and customer deliveries, driving integration and on-time delivery.

The role requires expertise in complex system integration, missile design domains, and real-time software, with proven experience leading engineering teams and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Complex functional integration, missile chain design, seeker/sensor design or proving, real-time software.
• Experience leading an engineering team.
• Experience managing budgets and delivery schedules.
• Desirable: strategic engagement with stakeholders and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to develop complex system simulations in world-leading HWIL facilities.
• Manage project-specific teams supporting missile design, trials preparation and customer deliveries.
• Contribute to delivery-focused environment and oversight of budgets and schedules.
