Gallagher is recruiting an Underwriting Assistant in our Bournemouth office to support Real Estate Underwriters and help deliver excellent service to clients.

This role offers learning opportunities in risk assessment, documentation, and policy administration, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and building expertise in underwriting.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance is advantageous; transferable skills welcome.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; open to AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Real Estate Underwriters to deliver excellent service.
• Assist Underwriters with administrative and underwriting tasks, including checks and documentation.
• Support risk assessment and quotation preparation to develop underwriting knowledge.
• Handle policy administration and customer service to ensure smooth service delivery.
