Real Estate Compliance & High Risk Solicitor

Location: Cheshire

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you a solicitor with a strong background in compliance, risk management, and real estate? Do you thrive on problem-solving and supporting colleagues with complex matters while ensuring the highest standards of client service?

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Real Estate Compliance & High Risk Solicitor to join a leading legal practice. This is a specialist role within a dynamic Real Estate department, providing vital support across compliance, high-risk file management, AML, and technical queries. This is a non-fee earning role - you will be providing advice to the wider team.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and advise on high-risk residential files and technical queries, ensuring risk is effectively managed and compliance standards are maintained.
  • Support fee earners with risk management processes to enable smooth and efficient progression of matters.
  • Provide AML guidance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
  • Assist the Post Completions team with technical queries, including Land Registry requisitions.
  • Collaborate with leadership and compliance teams on process improvements and file reviews.
  • Promote best practice, excellent client service, and compliance with professional conduct rules.
