William James Recruitment is seeking an Associate Real Estate Solicitor in Birmingham for a hybrid role with a leading national practice. You will handle a broad mix of commercial property matters for occupiers, developers, investors and lenders, including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant work, and development projects.

The successful candidate will have 1-5 years' PQE in Commercial Property, strong drafting and advisory skills, and a collaborative approach to client service.

Formación

• Qualified Solicitor with 1-5 years' PQE
• Significant experience in Commercial Property
• Demonstrable experience across a broad range of Real Estate matters
• Strong technical drafting, negotiation and advisory skills
• Commercially minded with the ability to deliver practical and solution-focused advice
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Capable of managing a varied caseload and working effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
• Financially aware with a proactive approach to day-to-day work
• Ambitious, motivated and keen to progress within a highly regarded national practice
• Enthusiastic about networking, business development and client relationship management

Responsabilidades

• Advise occupiers, developers, investors and lenders on a broad range of commercial property matters
• Handle acquisitions and disposals of commercial property and development land
• Advise on landlord and tenant matters, including leases and related documentation
• Support development projects through development agreements and infrastructure documents
• Undertake property due diligence and title investigations
• Assist with property portfolio management including licences, assignments and leases
• Support senior colleagues on property finance transactions
• Advise on the real estate aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals
• Handle acquisitions and disposals of investment property, including sale and leaseback transactions
• Build and maintain client relationships across a varied client base
• Support business development and team growth
