Job summary

William James Recruitment seeks a Commercial Property Solicitor in Birmingham with 5+ years’ PQE to join a leading Commercial Property and Real Estate team. You will handle acquisitions, disposals, and landlord & tenant work for a broad client base including investors, occupiers, landlords and corporate clients.

The role offers a varied, high‑quality caseload, hybrid working, excellent client exposure, supportive culture and clear progression within the practice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE in Commercial Property
• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities
• Experience with acquisitions, disposals and landlord & tenant matters
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Advising on a broad range of commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals and portfolio management
• Acting for landlords, tenants, investors, occupiers and corporate clients across sectors
• Drafting and negotiating leases, licenses to assign and alterations
• Supporting clients with asset management and day‑to‑day property transactions
• Managing your own caseload with senior partner support on larger matters
• Building long‑term client relationships with commercially focused advice
• Working within a collaborative team with clear progression opportunities
