Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting a Concrete Batcher / Ready-Mix Plant Operator for a busy West London operation in Uxbridge. The role involves controlling batching from the plant control room and ensuring the correct concrete mix is produced to schedule.

Experience in ready-mix batching is ideal but training is provided. Proactive, reliable candidates with a willingness to learn and communicate with drivers and colleagues will thrive in this busy production environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing scheduled and booked concrete orders
• Moving booked work through the production and batching process
• Operating and monitoring computerised batching systems
• Monitoring batches as they're produced to ensure the correct mix is being delivered
• Making appropriate minor adjustments during production where required
• Working closely with Shippers to coordinate production, deliveries and drivers
• Communicating confidently with drivers regarding loads and production
• Working alongside Concrete Technicians to ensure batches meet required quality standards
• Carrying out appropriate quality checks on your own work
• Monitoring production throughout the shift and identifying potential issues early
• Maintaining accurate production information and records
• Taking ownership of the quality and consistency of the product being produced
