Job summary

Bridgewater High School invites applications for a HLTA-led role focusing on literacy and language development. The successful candidate will deliver targeted interventions for pupils with literacy difficulties, SEND and EAL learners, using Lexonik tools and MeLSA principles.

They will monitor progress, plan and evaluate impact, and contribute to whole-school reading culture, CPD, and resource development, while working collaboratively within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or Level 4 qualification or willingness to work toward it.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Experience in a school environment.
• Experience delivering literacy or targeted interventions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver targeted literacy interventions.
• Support pupils with SEND and EAL.
