Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in Wolverhampton to service, maintain and repair cars and light commercial vehicles at customer sites or roadside locations.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or Level 2 with 3+ years of experience) and a full UK driving licence. Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm, no weekends; salary up to £34,000 basic with OTE up to £42,000 and a strong bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Level 2 with 3+ years of experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician / Mobile Technician / Mechanic.
• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop and mobile duties.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair cars and light commercial vehicles at customer sites or roadside locations.
• Work independently from a fully equipped support vehicle.
• Maintain a fleet made up of approximately 75% LCVs and 25% cars.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Repair braking systems, clutches, gearboxes and associated components.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Complete accurate repair and service documentation.

Looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician role offering up to £34,000 basic, £42,000 OTE and no weekend working?

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician, Mobile Mechanic, Roadside Technician or Automotive Technician in Wolverhampton. Applicants must hold either a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or a Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years' relevant experience, plus a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.

Salary: Up to £34,000 Basic + Bonus

OTE: Up to £42,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm | No Weekends

• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop and mobile duties
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
