Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited in Wokingham is seeking a Mobile Fabric Engineer for an FM service provider in a commercial building environment. The role covers fabric PPM and reactive maintenance across three sites around Wokingham; you will work on-site as part of a maintenance team.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of commercial building maintenance, fabric duties, health and safety experience, and basic PC literacy. Immediate start on an on-going contract with £21 per hour.

Mobile Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Wokingham - £21 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Wokingham. CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer. The successful candidate will have an all-around understanding of most fabric duties, a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and experience working within a healthcare environment. Working within a team on-site, he or she will need to carry out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance.

Working hours

• Monday - Friday
• On-going contract
• £21 per hour
• Enhanced DBS needed
• Immediate start

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Painting & Decorating
• General fabric repairs
• Fixing Furniture
• Hanging Pictures & Shelves
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
