Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Wokingham is seeking a Mobile Fabric Engineer to join an FM service provider. You will work on-site across three sites, carrying out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance in a commercial building environment.

The role requires knowledge of building fabric duties, strong communication, and a good health & safety mindset. Immediate start available; enhanced DBS is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Paint and decorate as required.
• General fabric repairs.
• Move and porter furniture.
• Fixing furniture and fittings.
• Hang pictures and shelves.
• Maintain and update log books.
• Support maintenance team on site (PPMs, fire alarm tests, temperature checks, flushing).
• Escort sub-contractors.
• Cover three sites around Wokingham.
• Undertake basic fabric duties.

Mobile Fabric Engineer - FM Service Provider - Commercial Building - Wokingham - £21 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Wokingham. CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer. The successful candidate will have an all-around understanding of most fabric duties, a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and experience working within a healthcare environment. Working within a team on-site, he or she will need to carry out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance.

Working hours

Monday - Friday

08:00 am - 17:00 pm

On-going contract

£21 per hour

Enhanced DBS needed

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Painting & Decorating
• General fabric repairs
• Furniture moves porterage
• Fixing Furniture
• Hanging Pictures & Shelves
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
• Escort sub-contractors
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
• Covering 3 sites around Wokingham
