Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Fabric Engineer to perform planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a heritage/commercial portfolio in and around the M25. The role offers a salary up to £35,300 plus a package and a route for progression, with a Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 schedule and a company van with a fuel card.

You should be multi-skilled in fabric duties, plumbing, carpentry, tiling and decorating, and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must provide copies of trade certificates.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled across carpentry, plumbing, tiling and decorating.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Carry out fabric maintenance tasks: painting, hinges, locks, furniture assembly.
• Perform plumbing tasks: clearing blockages, replacing components, servicing systems.
• Liaise with contract management team.
• Investigate complaints and take action.
• Carpentry: hanging doors, architrave, shelves.
• Tiling: floors and walls.
• Painting and decorating.
• Plastering.
• Fixing furniture.
• Hanging pictures & shelves.

Mobile Fabric Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider - M25 - £35,300 + Package

Are you a Mobile Fabric Engineer looking for a new challenge?

An exciting opportunity to join an established Building Services company based in London. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a heritage/commercial portfolio based across the M25. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

This position would be ideal for a Mobile Fabric Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £35,300 with a potential route into further career progression.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
• To undertake some plumbing activities including but not limited to clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, servicing systems etc.
• Liaising with the contract management team
• Investigating complaints and taking appropriate action
• Plumbing – washers, taps, unblocking toilets, unblocking stacks, installing new sinks, urinals and toilets, pipework (copper or PVC)
• Carpentry – hanging doors, new locks, architrave, window frames, boxing in, assembling furniture
• Tiling – floors, walls and Carpet tiles
