Sugarman Health & Wellbeing Limited is seeking a dedicated Paediatric Healthcare Assistant to support a young male service user with profound disabilities in Weymouth. This role involves 24/7 on-call style care with shadow shifts initially.
You will administer feeds, meds via gastrojejunostomy, monitor vital signs, provide personal and pressure-area care, and assist with moving and handling. A driver is required and some travel to Ferndown (BH22) may be needed.
Shifts on offer: Night shifts (19.00 pm to 07.00 am)

We are looking for a unique Paediatric Health Care Assistant within the Weymouth area who can support a young male service user with profound disabilities therefore relies on others 24/7 to meet his needs and keep him safe. Working with the service user will provide opportunities for the carer to gain experience and knowledge within a number of different areas, such as:
Our service user lives with his foster family in a warm and loving home environment. The successful applicant will partake in shadow shifts alongside a competent member of our service users' care team until they feel ready to provide care without supervision.
This position is rewarding, person-centred and will equip the carer with a wide range of beneficial skills.
Theory and Practical training will be provided free of charge to ensure you have the correct skills and knowledge to support this service user's needs. This is an amazing opportunity to learn new skills and progress in your health and social care career. Practical clinical training will be delivered by one of our nurses so you can learn first-hand from their expertise.
