Nurse Functional Assessor role based in Weston‑super‑Mare. Salary £40,000 to £42,000 plus bonus. Monday to Friday, office hours with a hybrid working model combining home‑based working and attendance at a local assessment centre.

We are recruiting registered Nurses (RGN, RMN and RNLD) to work as Functional Assessors delivering Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Work Capability Assessment (WCA) services.

This role offers an alternative to hands‑on clinical work. The focus is on assessing how health conditions impact daily living or work capability and producing clear, evidence‑based reports.

Salary: £40,000 to £42,000 per year plus bonus

Working pattern: Full-time or part‑time, Monday to Friday, office hours

Hybrid working: Combination of home working and office‑based assessments

Right to work in the UK required (sponsorship not available)

Training

Assessments are completed via:

• Telephone
• Face‑to‑face appointments (non‑clinical setting)

This role does not involve

• Providing hands‑on clinical care
• Diagnosing conditions
• Prescribing or delivering treatment
