Randstad Education is seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join a school in Guildford on a day-to-day basis. The role requires GCSEs in English and Maths and a TA qualification is desirable. You will support pupils with SEMH/SEND needs and work on developing empathy, communication and trust with vulnerable learners.
Working hours are 9:30-3:30, with a focus on patience, resilience and proactive engagement to help pupils achieve their learning goals.

GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent standard). Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
Prior experience working with children or young people, preferably within an SEMH, SEND, or alternative provision environment.
Strong communication skills, patience, emotional resilience, and a proactive approach.
High levels of empathy, professionalism, and the ability to build trust with challenging or vulnerable pupils.
