Randstad Education is seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant for a school-based role in Guildford on a day-to-day basis or a long-term contracted basis (potential for permanent position for the right candidate).
You will work with students with autism and complex disabilities, including non-verbal communication, who are operating below age expectations. Working hours are 9:30-3:30. DBS update service preferred or willing to pay for one.

Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications:
GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent standard). Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not neccessary.
Enhanced DBS check for child and adult workforce on the update service or willingness to pay for one.
Prior experience (3-6 months minimum) working with children or young people, preferably within SEN.
Strong communication skills, patience, emotional resilience, and a proactive approach.
