Randstad Education in Guildford is seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to support students with autism and complex disabilities in a school setting, on a day-to-day basis or for a longer-term contract.
You will assist with non-verbal communication, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers to create a supportive learning environment. GCSE English and Maths and a Level 2/3 TA qualification are desirable, as is an Enhanced DBS or willingness to pay for one.
We are searching for an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our school based in Guildford on a day-to-day basis / long term contracted basis (until the end of the academic year with a possibility of switching to a permanent position for the right candidate).
In this role you will be working along students with autism, complex disabilities as well as non-verbal communication, who are operating below age expectancy.

Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications:
GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent standard). Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not neccessary.
Enhanced DBS check for child and adult workforce on the update service or willingness to pay for one.
Prior experience (3-6 months minimum) working with children or young people, preferably within SEN.
Strong communication skills, patience, emotional resilience, and a proactive approach.
