Job summary

Randstad Education in Guildford is seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our school community. The role is based on site with working hours from 9:30 to 15:30, and a daily rate of £88–£100.

Ideal candidates will have GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above and a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is desirable. Experience with SEMH/SEND environments, strong communication, empathy and resilience are essential.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children or young people, preferably within an SEMH, SEND, or alternative provision environment.
• Strong communication skills, patience, emotional resilience, and a proactive approach.
• High levels of empathy, professionalism, and the ability to build trust with challenging or vulnerable pupils.
