Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join a school in Guildford on a day-to-day basis. The role requires GCSEs in English and Maths and a TA qualification is desirable. You will support pupils with SEMH/SEND needs and work on developing empathy, communication and trust with vulnerable learners.

Working hours are 9:30-3:30, with a focus on patience, resilience and proactive engagement to help pupils achieve their learning goals.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Mathematics at C/4 or above or equivalent
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
• Experience with children or young people, preferably SEMH/SEND
• Strong communication, empathy and professionalism
