Top Gear Recruitment Solutions is recruiting a HGV1/LGV1/Class One Shunter for a long-standing client in West Bromwich. Start times are 1800, Monday to Friday, with around 10 hours per shift, and duties include collecting the unit and shunting at Bilston.

You must hold a valid HGV1/LGV1/C+E licence, CPC card, and digital tachograph. Expect 20–50 trailer moves per night and regular weekly PAYE pay with holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class One licence.
• Valid CPC card and digital tachograph card.
• Held HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class One licence for at least 6 months.
• No major driving convictions on licence.

Responsibilities

• Collect the unit at West Bromwich and travel to Bilston to perform onsite shunting.
• Carry out between 20 and 50 trailer moves per night.
• Work 1800 start times, Monday to Friday, with average 10 hour shifts.

HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class One Shunter Driver Required

Our long standing client based in West Bromwich, are urgently seeking a HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class One Shunter

As a HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class One Shunter driver, your duties incude the following:

1800 start times Monday to Friday - Average 10 hour shifts

Initially reporting to their site in West Bromwich to collect the unit then travelling down to Bilston to carry out onsite shunting duties

Carrying out between 20 to 50 trailer moves per night

The ideal HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class One Shunter driver will have the following:

A valid HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class One driving licence

A valid and in date driver CPC card

A valid and in date digital tachograph card

You must have held your HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class One licence for at least 6 months and have atleast

No major driving convictions on your licence

The successful HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class One Shunter driver can expect the following:

A highly competetive hourly rate of £20.17 per hour - PAYE - This is including holiday pay, we also have the option on accrued holiday
