Job summary

Top Gear Recruitment Solutions seeks a HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/C+E driver for a Cannock-based position. Duties include operating a box sided vehicle and performing nationwide RDC deliveries or trunking with tail lift loading. Mon-Fri starts with a structured schedule and weekly pay.

Ideal candidates hold a HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/C+E licence for at least 6 months, have a clean licence, and possess a valid CPC and tachograph card. Pay is quoted at £20.17 per hour, PAYE with holiday pay.

Qualifications

• HGV/LGV/Class 1 driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• No major driving convictions on your licence.
• Valid CPC and tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box sided vehicle.
• Carry out nationwide RDC deliveries or trunking; RDC may require loading cages via tail lift.
• If RDC deliveries, load cages onto vehicle via tail lift with 1–2 drops.
• Operate with consistent schedule; regular hours Monday to Friday.

HGV1/LGV1/Class1/Class One/Category C+E Driver Required

Our long standing client based in Cannock are urgently seeking a HGV1/LGV1/Class1/Class One/Category C+E Driver

As a HGV1/LGV1/Class1/Class One/Category C+E Driver, your duties will include the following:

1800 starts working Monday to Friday

Driving a box sided vehicle

Carrying out either nationwide RDC deliveries or nationwide trunking - If you are doing RDC deliveries then you will be expected to load the cages onto your vehicle via the tail lift - Usually 1 to 2 drops - If you are trunking then you will usually be asked to carry out a trunk to Lincoln with no handball involved

The ideal HGV1/LGV1/Class1/Class One/Category C+E Driver will have the following:

Held your HGV1/LGV1/Class1/Class One/Category C+E driving licence for a minimum 6 months and have a minimum 3 months experience within this period

Have no major driving convictions on your licence

Hold a valid driver CPC and digital tachograph card

The successful HGV1/LGV1/Class1/Class One/Category C+E Driver can expect the following:

A highly competetive hourly rate of £20.17 per hour - This is PAYE and includes holiday pay - We also offer the option of accrued holiday pay
