Job summary

Simple Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver for shifts in Welham Green, starting early each weekday. The role is a long-term temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will deliver and collect skips, dispose of waste per regulations, complete paperwork, and perform vehicle checks. Overtime is paid at 1.5x the standard rate.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence is essential.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph card must be valid.
• Knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations is essential.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to work independently.

HGV Class 2 Skip Driver

Location: Welham Green, AL9
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate (£25.50 per hour if standard rate is £17.00)
Contract Type: Long-term temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent

Essential Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 / LGV Category C Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous skip driving experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
