Job summary

Simple Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver for shifts in Welham Green, starting early each weekday. The role is a long-term temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will deliver and collect skips, dispose of waste per regulations, complete paperwork, and perform vehicle checks. Overtime is paid at 1.5x the standard rate.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence is essential.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph card must be valid.
• Knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations is essential.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, collect and transport skips to and from customer sites.
• Safely dispose of waste in line with procedures and regulations.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects or issues.
• Provide professional customer service during collections and deliveries.
• Follow health and safety procedures and road transport regulations.
