Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist a group of four individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs at Waterbeach. You will be part of a friendly, supportive team providing daily living support, companionship, and positive activities in a caring environment.
Full-time shifts include 7am-2pm and 2pm-9pm with optional Sleep In, enhancing care delivery and team flexibility. DBS checks and references are required; full training is provided.

Waterbeach supports four individuals who have been in the Service for many years. The people we support at this service have conditions such as Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Autism, Dementia and Cerebral Palsy. Full training and continued development is available to meet the high level of health needs.
The service has excellent relationships with the local community enjoy visiting the botanical gardens in Cambridge, bowling, swimming, to the local pub, to the village carnival and accessing local shops. We liaise with the local GP surgery and Community Nurses to ensure all needs are met , this collaborative approach ensures the people we support receive a high standard of care.

Staff are supported with a detailed induction, continuing professional development and support . The manager ensures supervision and appraisals are completed in a timely effective way and staff also receive an in-depth Observational supervision where they are also supported with their personal development.
