Job summary

Voyage Care in Waterbeach, Cambridge, is seeking a Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs. Typical shifts are 7am-2pm and 2pm-9pm, with occasional sleep-in duties, and full-time hours.

You will gain training, DBS clearance, and access to a range of staff benefits, with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends and overtime rates. The service promotes a supportive team and development opportunities.

Waterbeach supports four individuals who have been in the Service for many years. The people we support at this service have conditions such as Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Autism, Dementia and Cerebral Palsy. Full training and continued development is available to meet the high level of health needs.

The service has excellent relationships with the local community enjoy visiting the botanical gardens in Cambridge, bowling, swimming, to the local pub, to the village carnival and accessing local shops. We liaise with the local GP surgery and Community Nurses to ensure all needs are met , this collaborative approach ensures the people we support receive a high standard of care.
