Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting for a Class 2 driver in Washington. You will perform multidrop duties on local North East routes, with a loaded vehicle and assistance from a driver’s mate. This is a PAYE role with week-by-week payments and regular weekend work possible.

Expect CPC and Digi-Card requirements, Cat C licence, and adherence to tachograph regulations within a logistics, distribution and supply chain setting.

Qualifications

• Digi-Card required.
• Licence - Category C.
• Understanding tachographs is essential.

Job description

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Washington, who are a well-known building supplies company. Due to their continuing growth, they are requiring an experienced Class 2 driver for ongoing work.

Class 2 driver role:

• Multidrop of building products
• Local North East routes
• Vehicle will be loaded for you
• Assistance from a driver's mate
• Washington based

Class 2 driver hours of work:

• 6am-11am starts until finish
• 7 day operation, so this role could involve weekend working

Class 2 driver pay rates (PAYE):

• £14.82 - Monday to Friday first 8 hours
• £22.23 - Monday to Friday after 8 hours
• £22.23 - Saturday all hours
• £29.64 - Sunday all hours
• £29.64 - Bank Holiday's all hours
