Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician in Warwick. You will join a well-established MOT and Service Centre in a modern, fully equipped workshop, servicing a variety of vehicle makes with a focus on high standards and customer satisfaction.

The role offers a stable, full-time position with excellent career prospects, a 40-hour week, and a Monday–Friday schedule with early finish on Fridays. Opportunities for ongoing training and long-term stability are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Proven mechanical knowledge across a broad range of vehicle makes/models
• Confident in working independently to a high standard
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Perform diagnostics and fault-finding with latest tools
• Carry out mechanical work including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, gearboxes
• Complete routine maintenance and fluid changes
• Inspect and test electronic and computer-controlled systems
• Carry out tyre fitting and wheel alignment
• Document all work accurately in line with GDPR and company standards
• Contribute to high-quality customer service within the workshop team

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established independent MOT and Service Centre based in Warwick. The Vehicle Technician role offers a stable, full-time position with excellent career prospects. The successful Vehicle Technician will work in a modern, fully equipped workshop, servicing a variety of vehicle makes and models with a focus on high standards and customer satisfaction. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technicians seeking long-term employment in a supportive environment.

• Salary up to £38,000 basic plus performance bonus
• Monday to Friday working week with early finish on Fridays
• No weekends and closed on bank holidays and Christmas

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on all vehicle makes and models
• Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using the latest tools and equipment
• Carry out mechanical work including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, and gearboxes
• Complete routine maintenance tasks such as fluid changes and general checks
• Inspect and test electronic and computer-controlled systems
• Perform tyre fitting and wheel alignment as required
• Accurately document all work carried out in accordance with GDPR and company standards
• Contribute to a high-quality customer service experience while working collaboratively within the workshop team

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or strong time-served experience
• Proven mechanical knowledge across a broad range of vehicle makes and models
• Confident in working independently to a high standard
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Full UK driving licence is essential; MOT licence beneficial but not required
• Hybrid/EV qualification is advantageous but not required
