Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable dealership in Worthing, West Sussex. The role offers a friendly, professional team environment with clear career development opportunities.

You will work from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with rotational Saturday mornings 8:30 am to 12 noon, and overtime available but not obligatory. Competitive basic salary with an OTE of up to £40,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive role.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Strong diagnostic skills across multiple vehicle brands.
• Organised and methodical, able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Positive attitude and excellent customer-service abilities.
• Formal qualifications are not essential, but relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently repair vehicles using specialised diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Maintain high standards in servicing and repairing a variety of vehicle brands.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and advise customers accordingly.
• Ensure all repairs meet dealership quality guidelines and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively within the workshop team to meet targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a tidy and organised work environment and follow health and safety procedures.
